AN ACT OF GOD by David Javerbaum

GOD has returned to set the record straight...and he's not holding back! A sinfully funny new play where the Almighty and His devoted Angels answer some of the deepest questions that have plagued mankind since Creation. This hilarious 80-minute comedy is “written by God” and transcribed by 13-time Emmy® Award winner David Javerbaum (The Daily Show).

“pricelessly funny fusillade of irreverence...a gut-busting-funny riff on the never-ending folly of mankind’s attempts to fathom God’s wishes through the words of the Bible and use them to their own ends.” – The New York Times

The DENIZEN Theatre and Roost Studios and Art Gallery, two local, non-profit organizations sharing a mission to build community through the arts, are excited to announce another visual and theatre arts collaboration.

As each new play is announced we will call for the creative community to visually respond to the complex themes explored through the productions brought to life in DENIZEN’s cutting edge, professional, black box theatre.
