About the Artist

Helen Gutfreund is a multidisciplinary artist living and working in New Paltz, NY. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Tufts University in conjunction with the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Art Education from SUNY New Paltz. Her work focuses on making order out of chaos while acknowledging the push and pull of both.
