The Art of Energy - Learn and Create!

We will begin the session on June 10 at Gardiner Library at 11 AM  with a presentation by Luis addressing concerns, offering information, and discussing Solutions & alternatives on some of the following topics: (among others)

• What is an energy audit
• Ways to conserve energy
• Out-of-control electric bills
• Energy consumption preservation and cost now and in the future.

The second part of the event will be led by Roost Arts founder and arts educator Marcy Bernstein.

Each participant will be provided with a small canvas, acrylic paints and brushes and collage material to interpret  topics related to energy, heat, light, and/or waste pollution contamination expense in their own personal and creative way. The finished paintings will be displayed on tiny easels and photographed.

It should be a fun and informative afternoon of expanding understanding of recent and future energy options and issues. As well as painting creating expressing and socializing!
