Marianne Tully has enjoyed drawing and painting from her earliest crayon, chalk, and pencil drawings as a child through to her present work, which includes working plein air with a group of artists in the Hudson Valley and Catskills doing landscape oil paintings and watercolor paintings. She has studied over the years with artists Brenda Goodman in New York City and F.E.Greene in Catskill, NY. Marianne has had three solo shows of her paintings: one at Stone Ridge Healing Arts, Stone Ridge, NY (2012) one at the Lifebridge Foundation Gallery in High Falls, NY (2012), and one at the Stone Ridge Library, Stone Ridge, NY (2016). She has also exhibited in group shows in and around Greene and Ulster Counties, such as the Greene County Council of the Arts Gallery in Catskill, NY, and at the Windham Community Center Gallery, Windham, NY. She has had many of her paintings exhibited for the juried Small Works shows and in other shows at the Woodstock Artists Association and Museum, Woodstock, NY, from 2017-2022, and is an Active Member. I have in the participated in the Mohonk Preserve/Roost Studios' "Plein Air Art Walk" in October 2020 and in May 2021. She lives with her husband in the rural hamlet of Lyonsville, near Stone Ridge, NY.
